BFF Crafts Night with Campus BDJ Planner

Image
I love doing arts and crafts! When BDJ posted a craft night event for the launching of BDJ Campus planner, I took chances in signing up for it even if I'm not a school girl anymore (I look like a school girl anyway. Hehe). I successfully got an invite (Yey!) and since the event title has BFF on it, I got to bring my sister with me. The BFF Crafts Night was held last May 16, 2014 at Fully Booked, Bonifacio Global City. My sister and I were among the last of the attendees to arrive but we still made it before the program starts. We are greeted by the BDJ Event Planner and Canon photo booth The registration booth Just in time! We registered on the booth and paid for the workshop kits (Php 100 for 2 pax). We still got bedroom slippers from Bedroom Athletics as freebies. Yey! Bonding time with friends would not be complete without food and drinks which were provided by J.Co and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Who wouldn't love to attend this event with these foo...

Unboxing May 2014 BDJ Box: Summer Radiance

Image
During the last BDJ Beauty Social: Tres Chic, I was among the winners of their social media contest. Yehey, lucky me! I was excited when the month of May arrived because I will be receiving my prize. I was a bit anxious because I received my box later than the others. I was just hoping I would receive Salvatos slippers.  When I received my box, I did not receive the slippers but still grateful because the box is jampacked. To share my excitement, here is the unboxing of the May 2014 BDJ Box. The theme of this month's box is Summer Radiance. This is very timely because the sweltering heat of the sun makes our skin dull and irritated. The products inside the box are meant to pamper ourselves to be glowing despite the summer heat. Let's introduce the contents of the box one by one. Too Cool For School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack Php 689  The sleeping pack moisturizes and exfoliates the skin to keep it hydrated. To use it, just apply the sleeping mask on the face after app...

My Project Pie Experience

Image
T I am always game in trying DIY food projects. Thus when Project Pie came in Ayala Fairview Terraces in Quezon City, I'm excited to finally dine in this place. The place has a modern and industrial feel. I love the lights because I feel like I'm a scientist in a creative lab. There was even an art workshop when I visited the resto. Project Pie has experimental and creative interior Art at Project Pie Pizzas are placed in a wooden chopping board upon order. What I really liked is that they make the pizza dough on the spot. The pizza dough is always fresh. The pizza assembly line You have the option to choose from the menu or if you are feeling more adventurous, you can pick the contents of your pizza (priced at P285). We tried one from the menu and also built our own. The concise menu of Project Pie Serving of one pizza, cut into quarters is good for one person. I think one whole pizza is not enough for me or maybe I have a big app...

Review: Celeteque Back Acne Spray

Image
I'm already familiar with Celeteque Acne Solutions line prior to subscribing to Sample Room. I tried their cleanser and moisturizer samples from the BDJ Box Beauty Social .   Their moisturizer really worked for me that is why it is already a staple in my regimen. I immediately ordered their Back Acne Spray when it went back in stock. I was excited to try this product because treating bacne is very tricky. Some areas are very hard to reach. Let's see if it lives up to my expectations. Here's the ingredients of the product. It does contain paraben.  The Celeteque Back Acne Spray has a clear consistency. It immediately dries up upon spraying which is good because I'm assured that the product sticks to my skin not on my clothes. It also does not stain on my clothes. It smells like an average alcohol/ hand sanitizer. Upon using the product for a week, my bacne has become less inflamed and reduced in size. This product is really handy this summer....

I was actually surprised that I got my package immediately. Hooray! I got the Celeteque Back Acne Spray and Nivea Deep Cleansing Mud Foam. I will review first the Nivea Deep Cleansing Mud Foam. I really wanted to try this product that is why I ordered it immediately when it was restocked. I got excited upon receiving the sample because it is full-size. Hooray! The product claims that it can remove makeup residues and gets rid of blackheads and excess oil. Full-sized sample from Sample Room It has charcoal...

DIY Chic Braided Headband

Image
I'm always fascinated with headpieces at the accessories store. It can instantly spice up your outfit. I wonder how these pretties are made. I had a brilliant idea to made my own chic headband when I glanced upon this brochure from Wacoal. I did a little variation from the instructions on the brochure because I also like to make use of the scrap denim clothes from my pants. Dilemma of a petite girl. Hehe. The materials that I used for this project are: Scrap denim (about 10 cm.) Glue gun Bra strap Scissors Needle and Thread 1. Cut the scrap denim into three equal parts. 2. Using the glue gun, glue the ends to make thinner strips like these. Make three of these. 3. Gather the strips and tie one side with a spare fabric, then braid away. Leave a small portion to seal the ends. 4. Seal the ends using a glue gun. 5. Attach one side of the bra strap onto the braided fabric by sewing them. You can also glue it but I prefer sewing t...
